Joker! Male Reader x Cinder Pt. 1

Hey guys Dishonorable here or you can call me Kai whatever you prefer. So here starts the story. This is my first Male Reader Fic so please don't discriminate me. Anyways to the story hope you like it.

    It's been years since the incident happened. I can't tell if it changed my life for good or for the worst. I feel like a whole different person as if someone else took control my body. My senses were enhanced with me having faster speed and better strength. After the Chemical Plantation accident I tried to find a place to live at since I couldn't go back. I ended up finding a abandoned fair with many rides that surprisingly still worked. I've stayed here for about 2 months now without anyone finding out. It's been lonely without having to talk to anyone. After a while I forgot my own name and past. It doesn't really faze me that I can't remember much anymore since I could handle well by myself. My clothes didn't fit me anymore so I was often shirtless, I rolled up my pant legs instead of throwing them away. My hair grew longer as well past my eyes, and stopped at the back of my neck.

    Right now i'm trying to find some food and maybe as well some new clothes. It was night time and I looked up at the sky to see the beautiful stars looking back. I walk out of the alleyway to see a group of people in black suits except the one in the front who's wearing a white trench coat and smoking a cig. These people looked wealthy to me so I decided to follow them. Eventually they walked into a store called "From Dust Till Dawn". I walked in as well without them noticing me and pretended I was looking around. The men were looking around and eventually spotted me confused as to why I was shirtless and looked like a clown. I chuckled at his reaction and he looked away probably thinking I was just another weirdo in Vale.

    I saw the presumed leader with orange hair look at counter filled with crystals. Eventually he started to talk.

??? - Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Dust shop open this late?

    I saw one of his buddies pull out a gun and pointed it at the clerk's face. I was curious and intrigued to see a robbery happen right in front of me. Should I help or should I sit this one out I wondered in my head. The clerk started mumbling something I couldn't hear. The leader of the group looked like he tried to quiet him down and ordered his men to scavenge the place. One by one they started to put these canisters into tubes filled with dust. One of his goons saw me and started walking towards me, I pretended that I didn't see anything and looked down.
He started to call for me to put my hands up. I looked up at him innocently and said "Me?" while pointing to myself. He nodded and pointed his gun at me. I yelled "Wait!" and put my hands up. I told him that I needed to tie my shoes so I bent over and reached for my shoes.

    He was looking at me intensely thinking of what i'm trying to do. Luckily for me I had a curved blade inside of my shoe. I slowly reached for the inside of my shoe. And like the speed of a snake I grabbed the Blade and stabbed it into his ankle. He dropped his gun and was about to scream when I quickly turned him around into a headlock while covering his mouth to muffle his yelling. I snapped his neck and hid his body behind a shelf so nobody sees us. I turned to my left and saw a person in a red cloak possibly a girl being confronted by one of the goons. She surprised me when she kicked his ass into a pile of supplies. I laughed confused to how a little girl can beat a guy thats 6 foot tall. Eventually she jumped out the window to get in a bigger area to fight in.

(Leader) - Okayyy...

    He looked at his men expecting them to do something but they just stood there looking at her.

(Leader) - Get Her!

    They ran out through the entrance towards her. I think i'll help out. She swung on her huge axe like weapon and kicked two men down, while the other three came towards my direction. I laughed at their courage to go against me. I grabbed my Blade and threw it at the closest one coming. It eventually went threw his throat. He tried to speak but he gurgled because he was choking on his own blood.

(F/n) - What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?

     He eventually died. The other two were hesitant about me but they still came at me. I ran towards the dead one and grabbed my knife back and sprinted towards them. I let the first one take a swing, I ducked and kicked his face with my knee. I felt some cracks in his face, that must hurt like a bitch. I chuckled and stabbed him through his forehead, killing him instantly. The last one was so scared he gave a war cry before coming at me. I laughed so hard at his cry I almost got hit. For my last trick I pulled out a revolver (kind of like McCree's from Overwatch) and shot him dead with 1 bullet. I giggled at all three and hid their bodies in a alleyway not too far away from me. The girl didn't seem to notice since she was busy with the two other men. Eventually when she was done she came up to greet me.

(Young Girl) - Hey! thanks for helping me uhh?

      I could tell she was a little weirded out by my appearance but I decided to be friendly with her. It then occurred to me that I forgot my name, so I thought of a nickname before coming to one.

(F/n) - It's Joker darling.

(Ruby) - Nice to meet you Joker my name's Ruby!.

She held out her hand for me to shake. Because of her personality and actions I could tell she was the cheerful type who could probably make friends fast. I shook her hand when we heard a cough of someone trying to get our attention. We looked to the side to see the Leader of the group standing there with his cane.

(Leader) - You were worth every cent truly you were.

      He took out his cigarette and threw it under his cane, then crushed it.

(Leader) - Well Red and Creepy Ass Clown, I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening. And as much i'd love to stick around...

      He then points his cane towards us

(Leader) - I'm afraid this, is where we part ways.

      The end of his cane's cap flips open and shoots out a flare like object towards us. Before it could hit us, I pulled out a playing card with a cartoon face of me on the front. I threw it towards the missile and it exploded on impact. Luckily it was a few feet away from us or else we'd be toast. Ruby wiped the sweat off her forehead and thanked me. As the smoke cleared we look around to see that he evaporated out of thin air. We looked around to find him. I craned my neck to see him climbing a ladder of an apartment trying to escape. Ruby sees the store clerk at the entrance and asks if he's okay if we go after him. He nods and we bolt after him.

       Ruby uses her huge axe like weapon to shoot herself to the top of the apartment. I use one of my powers that I acquired from the Chemical accident to teleport to the top of the roof. (Note. The reader's semblance is where he can teleport to anywhere that is in his vision. It's kind of like Reaper's ability in Overwatch except the mist around him when he teleports is green.) I chuckle and met up with ruby. Eventually it was a dead end for him since there was no where to go except to jump off.

(Leader) - Persistent...

        We then feel the roof shaking and see a aircraft appear from fuckin no where. The guy jumps onto the carrier and looks back at us.

(Leader) - End of the line Guys!

         He pulls out a red crystal and throws it at Ruby and me. Confused at to what it's supposed to do I tap it with my shoe. The Leader pulls out his cane again and shoots toward it. The missile was to close, by the time I retrieve my card from my pocket we're dead. I laugh one last laugh before I die, but then in a blink of an eye someone jumps in front of us. The leader laughs as he sees the big boom but then gasps once he sees that a blonde woman wearing glasses saved us. I look to my right to see Ruby still flinching from the explosion. She looks up when she noticed she was all right.

(Blonde Woman) - Hmph...

         The woman shifts her glasses before she shoots purple balls of something dangerous from her wand lookin thing. The balls hit the Aircraft multiple times causing it to shake. She shoots one more, but this one was bigger it swayed in the air then evaporated into what looks like a mini storm. The woman sways her arm downwards and caused icicle looking things to shoot down from the storm into the Carrier. Then out of no where another woman walks from behind the entrance of the carrier. I could tell she was attractive and was my type of lady. She wore a red dress and had high heels on. We couldn't see much because of the shade covering her face. The chick shot fireballs towards us but hit the blonde woman's magical force field but then shot into little pieces in the ground. It surrounded her but she backflipped before the explosion. She used the broken debris to make a spear launched it towards the chick in the Carrier. The chick shot fireballs at it which destroyed the spear but again reformed and aimed towards driver.

          It misses but it still hits the Aircraft. The chick then decides she has enough and destroys all of it. I look to the side to see Ruby turn her weapon into a sniper and started shooting at the chick. She deflected all of it of course. The chick uses her technique again and causes explosions underneath us but the blonde woman moved us forward. They then succesfully escaped.

(Ruby) - Y-You're a huntress!

          I look to the side to see Ruby intrigued about this mysterious woman, me included. The woman looks at her before Ruby asks her for a autograph, I laughed at Ruby's reaction. My laugh filled the dark night.

(Blonde Woman) - Do you have any idea that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly young lady? You put yourself and others in great danger.

(Ruby) - But they started it!

          Me and Ruby were in a room with just one light that covered ruby, me and the table in front of us. While we were lectured I was playing with my deck of playing cards. I didn't bother listening to the Lady.

(Blonde Woman) - If it were up to me. You'd be sent home with a pat on the back.

           Ruby smiles for a bit

(Blonde Woman) - And a slap on the wrist.

           The woman slaps her switch against the table near Ruby's hand which caused her to yelp. I chuckled at her face.

(Blonde Woman) - But there's someone here who would like to meet you.

            She moved out of the door frame to reveal a man with gray hair and round glasses carrying a plate of cookies. Surprisingly he doesn't look old.

(Man) - Ruby Rose...

             He leans toward her face as if too get a better look. Ruby backs away a little freaked.

(Man) - You have silver eyes...

(Ruby) - uhh um.

(Man) - So... Where did you learn to do this?

             He nods his head toward a monitor showing her in action during the fight. Luckily I wasn't in there.

(Ruby) - S-Signal Academy.

(Man) - They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?

(Ruby) - Well one teacher in particular.

(Man) - I see...

              He then sets the plate of cookies on the table. Ruby slowly grabbed a cookie and ate it, before she ravenously munched on the others. I sweat dropped while staring at her.

(Man) - It's just that i've seen another scythe wielder of that of that skill before. A dusty old crow.

              Ruby speaks about something but just mumbles since she has all those cookies in her mouth. She apologizes and explains how he's talking about her uncle Crow who's a teacher at signal. She goes on to speak how she was complete garbage before he took her under his wing. She then does these hilarious karate motions with her arms that made me laugh a little too hard. They all look towards me before he eventually goes back towards Ruby.

(Man) - So what is a adorable girl like yourself doing at a school designed to train warriors.

(Ruby) - Well, I want to be a huntress.

              The man sits down at the table and brings his hands together.

(Man) - So you want to slay monsters?

(Ruby) - Yeah, I only have two more years of training left at signal then i'll apply at beacon. See my sister's starting there this year and she-

              Eventually she started talking so fast I couldn't keep up with her so I kept playing with my cards. Then all of a sudden it became dead quiet so I looked back up.

(Man) - Do you know who I am?

(Ruby) - You're Professor Ozpin. You're the headmaster at beacon.

(Ozpin) - Huh, Hello.

(Ruby) - Nice to meet you.

(Ozpin) - So you want to come to my school?

(Ruby) - More than anything.

              Ozpin and the blonde lady looked at each other. She gave a look saying fine and Ozpin agreed. Ruby was cheering for herself. While they then looked at me.

(Ozpin) - So who may you be.

(F/n) - I'm the Joker

              I said as I placed my deck of cards in my pocket.

(Ozpin) - May I ask why you're not wearing a shirt?

              I looked down at myself. Over the years my body became more toned and muscular.

(F/n) - I don't have a lot of money.

(Ozpin) - I see, do you want to go to my school as well?

              I looked at him as if he was blind.

(F/n) - I don't think i'm young enough..

(Ozpin) - By the way you look I can tell you didn't get much education.

             Suddenly a piece of memory came back to me. When I was younger my family couldn't afford me to go to high school. Maybe I should go... I've been lonely for years. Maybe it'll be good to have some human contact.

(F/n) - Sure but I don't have clothes.

(Ozpin) - Don't worry we'll provide you with a uniform and some lien.

(F/n) - Thank you.

             And so here I am on a aircraft that's apparently called a bullhead. I was looking out the window looking at the beautiful city known as Vale. I pulled out my blade and played with it. Maybe this is for the better.

??? - Hello and welcome to Beacon.

             I turned around from hearing someone. I saw a hologram of that lady I saw the other night. Not too far from it, I saw Ruby with some Blonde girl who looked older than her. Too be honest she looks kinda hot. I didn't really care much so I just sat down and played with my knife. Ozpin gave me some lien so I was able to get some new clothes, and I do gotta say i'm pimpin it out. It consisted of a Purple Coat with the writing "Mistah J" on the back of it. I got a shirt underneath that says "Puddin" also. Eventually the Bullhead came to a stop, and everyone started exiting. I looked out and saw a Huge Castle looking building. I could stay looking at this view for hours. Some people walked by looking at me but I didn't mind. I don't mind at all. I chuckled pulling out a cigarette and put it in my mouth.

This'll be a good year

??? - HEY! NO SMOKING!

Well... Sorta good year.
